La Palma - Canary Islands - Spain
DISCOVER LA PALMA
Off the Moroccan coast, the Canary Islands (Spain) conceal many wild splendours. Starting with La Palma, its most forested island.
La Palma is one of the loveliest of the Canary Islands and in any case one of the most wild and unspoilt. This volcanic island covered with a deep forest, has been declared a Biosphere reserve by UNESCO since 2002. At its center is the legendary Caldera de Taburiente National Park, one of four National Parks in the Canaries.
In addition to its extremely varied landscapes and skies among the clearest in the world for stargazing, La Palma delights its visitors through its wines, cheeses, fish… and hand-rolled cigars!
But above all, it's an island for anyone seeking peace and nature. Ideal for hikers, marathon runners, and cyclists.
La Palma, with its vey exotic charm, is still largely unknown to the French. On the property side, it is an attractive destination, especially as the Canaries are perfectly well-served by air links.
